Ms. Pouna (Pooneh) Ghasvareh is the Director of Ponderosa Immigration Services and a licensed immigration and Refugee consultant . She holds a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University, where she graduated with distinction.

Fluent in English and Farsi, Pouna brings a personal and empathetic approach to her work. As an immigrant herself, she is passionate about helping others navigate the complex journey of building a new life in Canada. Her own path began as an international PhD student in engineering at the University of British Columbia, where she was admitted with full funding.

Following her studies, she served as a manager at a start-up company, gaining hands-on experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, and collaborating with diverse individuals—many of whom shared the same goal of establishing a future in Canada. These experiences sparked her commitment to immigration law and inspired her to pursue formal legal training, with the goal of guiding others through their immigration journey with care and expertise.

Behzad Behroozan is an accomplished entrepreneur and founder of several start-up companies, bringing extensive experience in business development and strategic planning. He specializes in preparing comprehensive business plans, conducting market research, and developing business concepts for immigration pathways such as the Entrepreneur Provincial Nominee Programs and the Start-up Visa Program, as well as for securing government funding for small businesses.

In addition, Behzad is a certified Farsi-English translator with proven experience in translating legal documents and providing professional interpretation services before the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB).
